Op Shop Coordinator

Part-time position (up to 20 hours per week)

We are seeking an organised and community-minded Op Shop Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the Ballarat Hospice Care Op Shop and help maintain a welcoming, safe and well-presented retail environment.

About the role

Working closely with volunteers, staff and stakeholders, you will coordinate retail operations, volunteer communication and rostering, customer service, stock presentation, sales processes, digital records and promotional activity.

This role helps ensure the Op Shop operates efficiently, supports sales and revenue, and strengthens community connection with Ballarat Hospice Care.

About you

  • You will be a warm, organised and practical person who enjoys working with people and supporting a volunteer-led retail environment.
  • With retail or customer service experience, initiative and enthusiasm, you will help the Op Shop run smoothly, present quality items with care and create a welcoming customer experience.
  • You will support volunteers to feel informed, valued and confident in their roles. You will also be comfortable using digital systems such as Microsoft Office, email, point of sale processes and online platforms.
