We recently acknowledged our CEO Carita Clancy's 15 years of service to Ballarat Hospice Care.Board Chair, Geoff Russell...
Everyone will face end-of-life. We all hope to be cared for and die in our place of choice. While it may be a daunting prospect, we work to ensure that people, when faced with this situation, have the resources and support they need.
By leaving a financial bequest to Ballarat Hospice Care Inc. you are assisting people with a life-limiting illness to stay in the place of their choice; and to support the carers, friends and family who help care for them.
Your will and legacy is your decision.
You may have a family member, friend or colleague who sought end-of-life care from Ballarat Hospice Care and now wish to leave a bequest to help us continue to offer specialist palliative care service to others.
Perhaps you may know about our work and understand that we rely on generous donations and financial contributions to grow our service.
A gift in your will helps people in our community receive in-home specialist palliative care.
It is essential to seek legal advice when making your will. Should you wish to support Ballarat Hospice Care with a gift in your will, the appropriate wording is as follows:
“I bequeath to Ballarat Hospice Care Inc. 1836 Sturt Street, Alfredton, VIC 3350 free from all duties for its sole use and benefit the sum of $…….. OR ….% of the residue, OR the whole residue of my Estate. The receipt of Ballarat Hospice Care Inc. shall be full and sufficient discharge to my executors for the payment of this bequest.”
